Camp

Tech Camp: Participants will spend the first two days travelling to various towns and attractions to take photos and video. They will gather information during this time to put on their websites. They will visit museums, historical places and more to fully appreciate what Colorado has to offer. The camps will last one week. There will be room to take 3 students for each camp. This could expand in the future. For now, the groups will be small. My car can fit 5 people comfortably. The car we will be using is my 2010 Volkswagen Jetta that is fully covered.  I intend on having my high school daughter accompanying us on our trips and helping with computer applications. She has had my class for 3 years in a row and is quite proficient on the computer. The workshops will take place in my home computer lab, located in Colorado Springs.

Tech Campers might want to bring money for souvenirs when we stop at historical places. Lunch will be provided each day. We will either eat at some local restaurants on the days we travel. Healthy lunches and snacks will be available when campers are working on computers to create their final products.

Some of the towns and hot spots we will be visiting might include Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Pueblo (my hometown), Cripple Creek, Canyon City, the Royal Gorge, Denver, Idaho Springs and Mount Evans, weather permitting.
