Student approved  sites. Many of these sites were shared with me by my students.

Student Games: Check out games created by MRMS students during the coding unit.

2048: This is a fun math game. Be careful, it is addicting.

Arts and Culture: Explore some fun links that incorporate music with art.

AutoDraw: Draw something and the computer will guess and give you a more clear image of what you might be trying to draw.

ABCya: This site has some fun links  to explore. Though it says 5th grade, you can find some fun activities worth exploring.

Androidify: This site allows you to make an android and save it to your computer. You can add it to projects if you want.

Audio Pal: This site allows you to record your voice and then embed the generated code of your voice on your website.

Aviary: Aviary is a powerful online tool that allows you to create and edit images.

Big Huge Labs: "Do fun stuff with your digital photos. Create and print free personalized motivational posters, calendars, movie posters, magazine covers, badges, mosaic, etc."

Blabberizer: This site allows you to have your voice come through on images. The image will move its mouth while your voice comes out.

Blue Robot: This site allows you to make your own Avatar.

Bomomo: This site allows you to make some unique art.

Brush Ninja: This site allows you to create simple animations and much more with images. See a video.

Canva: Check out this fun site that allows you to easily filter images. Canva is a simple, drag-and-drop, design software that’s online and free to use.

Cartoonify: This site allows you to create cartoon characters.

Chrome Music Lab: Explore this fun page with a variety of music and sound experiments.

Collage Maker: This site allows you to make attractive collages.

Cool Math Games: This site has many fun math games to play for a variety of age levels.

Cool Text: This site has a variety of fonts and effects to choose from. Create your animated title and then save it as a gif. Upload it to your website.gif. Upload it to your website.

Draw in 20 seconds: Try and draw a specific object in 20 seconds. If you are good at it, a voice will let you know what you drew.

Duolingo: This site allows you to practice various foreign languge.

EdHeads: "Edheads helps students learn through educational games and activities designed to meet state and national standards." You can perform a virtual hip replacement, knee surgery or hip resurfacing. This site is really awesome!

Education.com: This site has some fun games to  help learn about a variety of topics.

Emojipedia: This site allows you to copy a variety of emojis for projects or for fun.

Flame Painter Free: This site allows you to be creative with drawing tools. Choose different colors and have fun! Make sure you choose free.

Flaming Text: Create some fun text for projects. Add the titles to projects. 

Flight Simulator: This site lets you virtually experience flight.

Flixpress: This site allows you to choose some fun movie introductions to add to your movies. Some are free and some cost money.

Floor Planner: Draw elaborate floor plans of your dream home.

FotoFlexer: This is a great tool for students to transform images. You can resize images, add animations and more. This is great, especially for people that don't have image editing software.

Freerice: This site allows you to improve your vocabulary, foreign languages and more while you give 10 grains of rice to the poor each time you get an answer correct.

Funbrain: Play a variety of games ranging in different subjects and grade levels.

Game Snacks: Choose from a variety of fun games to play.

GeoGuessr: Use clues in an image and try to guess where it is in the world. This is a fun way to learn geography.

Google Arts & Culture: Have fund coloring images online.

HoodaMath: This site has a lot of fun math games.

I am Poem: This site allows you to add words to a poem generator. It then creates a poem with your words.

IncrediboxIncredibox: "Incredibox is a music app for creating your own music with the help of a merry band of beatboxers."

ipiccy: This is a free online image editor. It allows you to apply a variety of effects on images.

Jam with Chrome: "Play live with your friends online. Start your JAM and invite friends!"

Jukedeck: Create your own music on Jukedeck.

Kids Should See This? This site is packed with a variety of interesting videos on subjects ranging from art to science. 

Kleki: This tool allows you to  use a variety of tools to make digital drawings. Watch the how-to-video on how to do a portrait. This video gives a thorough demonstration on how to use the tools.

LineRider: This is a very unique site that allows users to draw simple to elaborate paths. Once they are satisfied with their path, they can click a play option in order to have a character travel the path.

Lunapic: This site allows you to upload images and manipulate them in a variety of ways, including animations.

Mad Libs: Generate some fun stories by adding parts of speech to a story.

Make Belief Comix: You can make up your own comic strip on this free online tool.

Math Nook: Play some fun math games for various age levels by visiting this site. 

Monk-e-mail: This site lets you record your voice or add a voice to an adorable monkey's face.

Mystery Animal: "Mystery Animal is a new spin on the classic 20-questions game. The computer pretends to be an animal, and you have to guess what it is using your voice."

Online Voice Recorder: This site allows you to record your voice and save your recording to be used in projects.

PicMonkey: This is a fun, free online image editor. You can create collages on this site.

Pixlr: Pixlr is a free online image editor. You can apply filter effects similar to Photoshop. It is a great tool if you can't afford the expensive image editors.

Quote Generator: This site allows you to type in quotes and choose from a variety of backgrounds and font schemes. 

Remove.bg: This site allows you to upload an image of a person and get a transparent background. You can add the person to a different background. 

Sampulator: Experiment making music on this fun interactive site.

Scrap Coloring: This site allows you to choose something to color. Follow the steps when you get to the site.

Shapegrams: "Shapegrams are nicely packaged inside Google Drawings and Google Slides documents and contain pictures to recreate, space to draw, video tutorials, drawing hints, and side activities."

Soundation: "Soundation is a powerful online music studio with professional features like recording, effects, virtual instruments and over 700 free loops and sounds." You can get some fabulous how-to videos on the Soundation site.

Soundtrap: Soundtrap allows you to make music online. Check out the video on collaboration.

Spot the Fake Smile: "This experiment is designed to test whether you can spot the difference between a fake smile and a real one."

Stars & Catz: Get 88 free music games. Their mission is to help anyone who wants to learn an instrument (or sing!)

Sumo Paint: This site has a lot of artistic potential. You can experiment with a variety of wonderful tools to create something interesting or beautiful.

Switchzoo: This site allows you to create fun creatures on the site. You can write a fun story about your animal.

Teachable Machine: "Teach a machine using your camera, live in the browser - no coding required." Get the webcam from the teacher if you can't view your face.

Textanim: This site has a variety of color schemes and font choices. Create your text and then save it as an image for projects.

Text Generator: This is a fun site that allows you to customize your own free logo. You can use the logo designer for anything you want! There is a wide variety of logos to choose from.

Thisissand: This site allows you to make creative sandscapes.

Tone Matrix: Tone Matrix is a step sequenzer which produces relaxing sonal patterns.

Toy Theater: Play around and create music on this site. 

TwistedWave: "TwistedWave is a browser-based audio editor. You only need a web browser to access it, and you can use it to record or edit any audio file.

Yearbook Yourself: Upload any face to this site and select a time period to see what you would look like with that era's hairstyle.

Vocaroo: This site allows you to record your voice. You can also upload an audio story and get the embed code to add it to your site.

Voice Changer: You can upload or record your voice and get different voice effects. It is so fun!

Voice Spice Recorder: This is a fun site that allows you to choose from a variety of possible voice outputs. You record your voice, save it and get a hyperlink to share with others. Check out my example

Voki: This site allows you to pick an Avatar and have it talk.

Weavesilk: This site allows you to make really cool images.

Whiteboard: This site allows you to draw and share the site with others if you choose to collaborate.

Wombo Art: High-quality artwork created in seconds with this online tool that uses artificial intelligence.

Worthless Websites: Check out some interesting websites that are considered worthless.
