Links to global warming sites: This link provides a variety of credible sites pertaining to issues dealing with global warming. Most of these links will provide solutions to the problem.

Microsoft Word, Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Excel 2003 are needed to download and open the following documents/spreadsheet. For an alternative step by step activity, click on this link.

  • Facts and Solutions: This document requires the student to research facts and theory about global warming. Students are also expected to provide solutions that will slow down global warming.
  • klw document: This document requires students to list what they know about global warming. They are expected to research the topic and provide what they learn. Finally, they are asked what they would like to know about global warming.
  • Your Opinion: This document poses questions that require the student go give their opinions about topics pertaining to global warming.
  • Citation Document: This document provides a table for students to list images or information in one column and resources in another column.
  • Video Questions: This document requires the user to gather facts from various online video clips from ABC News. I am also making videos available for viewing on our computers.
  • Poster Tutorial: This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a poster.
  • Newsletter Tutorial: This tutorial will assist you in creating an aesthetically pleasing one page newsletter about environmental issues. See the example.
  • Graph Lesson: This lesson will walk the user through setting up graphs in Microsoft Excel. The data consists of world emissions of carbon dioxide. It is available to those with Excel 2003. The information was obtained from the Energy Information Administration.
  • Window's Movie Maker: This is a tutorial that can be used to create the final project.
