Photos
of New York: These photos were recently taken on a trip
to New York. They primarily consist of pictures at the Natural
History Museum, which happens to be one of my favorite museums
I've ever been to. Unfortunately, I didn't take a fraction
of the awesome exhibits because of time. Other images are
of the city streets. |
Photos
of Hawaii: Some of the photos were taken during a shark
dive in the Pacific Ocean. These photos have been contributed
for educational purposes by Darrell Vanaman. He is allowing
the use of these photos to enhance projects in the classroom.
If you use these images, be sure to credit Darrell Vanaman.

Photos
of Italy: These photos have been provided by Ally, a highschool
student in Colorado. She and her family visited Venice,
Rome, Piza, Siena, and Florence during the summer of 2006.
You can use these images with permission from Ally. She
said you are free to manipulate them or use them for educational
projects. If you use her images, be sure to give her credit. |
Switch
Zoo Animals: Students can take prepared images from Switch
Zoo to add to their websites in order to add variety and
interesting material on their sites. It is preferable that
students create their own manipulations using this site,
but if they fall behind or miss classes, they can grab an
animal and write a story to make their sites more interesting
to the reader. |
Movie
clips and more: This link will give students access to movie
clips, sound files and clip art. They will learn how to
retrieve these files from the Internet and other sources
in order to incorporate them into their projects. |
Grid
project images: You will be able to get images for a Photoshop
lesson that requires you to create a 4 X 4 grid of a total
of 16 images. This assignment will assist you in creating
an interesting art project that requires you to apply various
filter transitions to each image. The results are often
impressive and very interesting. |
Business
Website Images: These images can be used for manipulation
to compliment your web pages. For example, there are plates,
t-shirts and other clothes that you can use on your products
section of your webpage. You could use the plates to place
meals if you have a cafe or restaurant. You could put your
own logo on the clothing products. You can design or customize
your products to compliment the theme of your website. |
Backgrounds.
Students can choose from a variety of backgrounds to incorporate
into different presentations for the class. This link will
allow students to learn more about design. The backgrounds
are intended to further compliment their work. These images
can be set as the background in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
and more. |
