Environmental Defense: Fight global warming. This organization addresses several environmental problems, providing solutions.

Free the Children: "Free The Children is the largest network of children helping children through education in the world, with more than one million youth involved in our innovative education and development programs in 45 countries. "

I Love Pandas: This site is dedicated to Panda awareness and protection. You can access Panda games, gifts and more.

Make Poverty History: This site provides statistics on world poverty and gives strategies to help end poverty.

Media Awareness Network: This site has a lesson plan to help teens improve their self esteem.

National Center for Children in Poverty: The purpose of this organization is to identify and promote strategies that prevent child poverty in the United States and that improve the lives of low-income children and families.

Natural Resources Defense Council: "NRDC works to solve the most pressing environmental issues we face today: curbing global warming, getting toxic chemicals out of the environment, moving America beyond oil, reviving our oceans, saving wildlife and wild places, and helping China go green."

Oxfam: "Oxfam International is a confederation of 12 organizations working together with over 3,000 partners in more than 100 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice."

Pennies for Peace: "The mission of Central Asia Institute focuses on community-based education, especially for girls. Research from the developing world reveals that a 5th grade education for a girl improves not only the basic indices of health for her and her family, but also helps her spread the value of education within her community. "

Pinwheels for Peace: "Pinwheels for Peace is an art installation project started in 2005 by two Art teachers, Ann Ayers and Ellen McMillan, who teach at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida, as a way for students to express their feelings about what’s going on in the world and in their lives. The project was quickly embraced by their students and the entire school community. "

Tolerance: This site provides information about injustices throughout the world and steps that can be taken to eradicate those injustices.

Unicef: United Nations Children's Fund. Unicef is a non profit organization that works toward the advancement of society by being advocates of children. Check out the make a difference videos. World Wildlife Fund: The World Wildlife Fund focuses on endangered species, the protection of endangered habitats and global threats.
