Dads and Daughters: "Dads and Daughters is the national advocacy nonprofit for fathers and daughters. DADs inspires fathers to actively and deeply engage in the lives of their daughters and galvanizes fathers and others to transform the pervasive cultural messages that devalue girls and women."

Environmental Defense: Fight global warming. This organization addresses several environmental problems, providing solutions.

Free the Children: "Free The Children is the largest network of children helping children through education in the world, with more than one million youth involved in our innovative education and development programs in 45 countries. "

Make Poverty History: This site provides statistics on world poverty and gives strategies to help end poverty.

Media Awareness Network: This site has a lesson plan to help teens improve their self esteem.

National Center for Children in Poverty: The purpose of this organization is to identify and promote strategies that prevent child poverty in the United States and that improve the lives of low-income children and families.

The National Peace Corp Organization: "The mission of the National Peace Corps Association is to lead the Peace Corps community and others to foster peace by working together in service, education and advocacy. '

Oxfam: "Oxfam International is a confederation of 12 organizations working together with over 3,000 partners in more than 100 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice."

Pinwheels for Peace: "Pinwheels for Peace is an art installation project started in 2005 by two Art teachers, Ann Ayers and Ellen McMillan, who teach at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida, as a way for students to express their feelings about what’s going on in the world and in their lives. The project was quickly embraced by their students and the entire school community. "

Sierra Club: This site focuses on environmental problems and solutions.

Teenagers Today: This site gives information that is geared toward teenagers. It also has good parenting tips for the adult readers.

Tolerance: This site provides information about injustices throughout the world and steps that can be taken to eradicate those injustices.

Unicef: United Nations Children's Fund. Unicef is a non profit organization that works toward the advancement of society by being advocates of children. Check out the make a difference videos. The award goes to the video that best captures the mission of Voices of Youth. You can view the winner and semi finalists.

World Wildlife Fund: The World Wildlife Fund focuses on endangered species, the protection of endangered habitats and global threats.
