The
Most Fabulous Hippo
While
me and my fellow professor Zack were on a diving expedition,
we made an amazing discovery. Deep at the bottom of the
ocean we found the largest hippo that I had ever seen.
As we got closer to the hippo we noticed that it had a
pig's nose and eagle wings, this was the reason we named
the creature a hipagle. The hipagle was very protective
of the area that he was in so it was very tough to get
close, but me and my partner bravely crept closer to the
large creature. We then realized that the hippo was beginning
to become very afraid of us. We offered the hippo some
food but he quickly flew out of the water and high into
the sky. My fellow professor Zack and I quickly took flight
with our jetpacks and followed our new discovery. After
hours of following the hipagle he retreated into a humungous
cave at the top of a mountain, in the cave was the largest
nest I had ever seen in my life. In the nest were absolutely
gigantic eggs. These eggs were as large as a small boat,
as we were about to go deeper into the cave to find our
hipagle the eggs cracked open!
From
the egg emerged a baby hipagle, the baby was screaming
very loud so it alerted the older hipagle. The elder hipagle
came rushing from deep within the cave to protect its
babies. My partner and I quickly left and hid just outside
the cave. After we had thought that the hipagle had forgot
about us we crept quietly back into the cave, this time
though we crept past the nest and deep into the cave.
There
deep within the cave we found the most amazing thing we
had ever seen. There was a whole world of the hipagle
species! They were all sitting in a huge field of a very
different kind of flower that we also had not seen ever
before. We did not travel into the mysterious world because
we thought that we had disturbed the hipagle enough. We
hope to back some day and discover more about the new
species of animal.
We
hope that young people will one day study this new animal
and that it will be discovered as the amazing animal that
it is.
