come through on images. The image will move its mouth while
your voice comes out.
Coconut Run: This game requires strategy and student
really enjoy this activity.
Cool Text:
This site has a variety of fonts and effects to choose from.
Create your animated title and then save it as a gif. Upload
it to your website.
Cool Tools for Schools: Get a variety of resources for
image editing by visiting this site.
Creativity Tools: Get a variety of resources to sites
that have different creativity options.
Dog
Tricks: Tell this precious real dog what to do and s/he
will most likely do what you say.
Don't
Buy It: PBS is offering interesting tactics to teach you
how to be media smart.
Draw
Stickman: This site allows you to create a stickman.
Challenges will occur and you will be asked to draw more
objects to deal with things that come up.
EdHeads:

You can perform a virtual hip replacement, knee surgery or
hip resurfacing. This site is really awesome!
Elbot:
Talk to Elbot, a friendly robot. Don't say mean things to
it, it is very sensitive. Besides, it isn't nice to be mean
to anyone, even a robot.
Floor
Planner: Draw elaborate floor plans of your dream home.
FotoFlexer: This is a great tool for students to
transform images. You can resize images, add animations and
more. This is great, especially for people that don't have
image editing software
Free Makeover: This site allows you to pick a model's
head or upload your own photo and add different hair styles.
Can be great for making a business website on a hair salon.
FreePoverty:
This site gives cups of water for getting answers correct
on world geography.
Freerice:
This site allows you to improve your vocabulary, foreign languages
and more while you give 10 grains of rice to the poor each
time you get an answer correct.
Glogster:
This is a glogster I created using glogster.com. It is some
of my favorites for students.
iKnowThat:
This site has thinking games. This site is packed with educational
activities. Take some time and explore.
Image Chef: "Write
a comment or poem in the shape of hearts or other symbols.
Send a greeting or post to MySpace or your blog."
Independence
Day Quiz: "Our quiz is made up of 20 questions found
on the actual citizenship test with a few curveballs in the
mix. The last ten questions may be a bit harder, but a score
of around 24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade."
JamStudio: You can create your own sound effects on this
site in a few simple steps.
LineRider:
This is a very unique site that allows users to draw simple
to elaborate paths. Once they are satisfied with their path,
they can click a play option in order to have a character
travel the path.
Lunapic: This site allows you to upload images and
manipulate them in a variety of ways, including animations.
Make Belief Comix: You can make up your own comic strip
on this free online tool.
Monk-e-mail: This site lets you record your voice or add
a voice to an adorable monkey's face.
Pixlr: Pixlr
is a free online image editor. You can apply filter effects
similar to Photoshop. It is a great tool if you can't afford
the expensive image editors.
Reading
Eyes: This is a test where you have to guess what a person
is feeling based on their eyes only.
Splashup:
This is another great online image editor. It allows you to
apply a variety of techniques to images.
Spot
the Fake Smile: "This experiment is designed to test
whether you can spot the difference between a fake smile and
a real one."
Sumo Paint: This site has a lot of artistic potential.
You can experiment with a variety of wonderful tools to
create something interesting or beautiful.
Talk
to M.A.I.D: Ask M.A.I.D. appropriate questions and get
some interesting feedback. Students love this site. They can
improve their reading and writing while they communicate with
artificial intelligence.

to Speach: Check out AT&T's site that allows you to
type in words or phrases and have the words spoken from a
variety of voice possibilities.
Textanim:
This site has a variety of color schemes and font choices.
Create your text and then save it as an image for projects.
USA
Smarts: test your knowledge of U.S. geography and history
by answering questions using a widget found at Widgetbox.
Wall Wisher: Students can post a message on a sticky
note about sites they think are worth exploring.
Web 2.0 Tools: This site is packed with creative tools
including video; music; images; writing; creativity and
more.
