Images

Welcome to the image sources site. This page is set up to assist students in getting images that are copyright friendly. Students will be publishing their work, so they have to pay closer attention to copyright laws. The following links can be used to gather images for educational projects that are published. Be sure to credit the image sources on your website. Students will be encouraged to bring in their own photos to compliment their websites. If you can't find the terms of use, don't assume you can use the image. 

Alaskan Cruise Gallery: These photos were taken when I went on an Alaskan Cruise the summer of 2013. If you use any images, be sure to credit Kidsnetsoft.

Best PhotosThis site has many quality images that you can use for your projects. Be sure to read the terms of use before using the image.

California Gallery: These are photos taken by my daughter Marianne. Be sure to credit her on your resources page if using images from this gallery.

Colorado GalleryThis gallery has a variety of images taken by Ms. Clementi to be used for educational purposes. Feel free to use them and please credit Kidsnetsoft for the images.

Creative CommonsThis site has some great options for copyright friendly resources.

 This site will let you know the terms of use for publishing images on your website.

Free Foto: This site has a variety of quality images. Like most sites, be sure to check the terms of use before using the images.

Geek Philosopher: Some of my favorite images are from this fabulous website. Take note of their terms of use before incorporating their images into your projects.

Greek Gallery: This gallery has a variety of images taken by Ms. Clementi to be used for educational purposes. Feel free to use them and please credit Kidsnetsoft for the images.

Hawaii Gallery
These are photos taken by  Darrell V. Be sure to credit him on your resources page if using images from this gallery.

Italy Gallery
These are photos taken by Ally L. Be sure to credit her on your resources page if using images from this gallery.

Morgue FileThis site has some beautiful images you can use for projects. Be sure to read the terms of use before using it for your projects.

New Mexico Gallery
This gallery has a variety of images taken by Ms. Clementi to be used for educational purposes. Feel free to use them and please credit Kidsnetsoft for the images.

New York Gallery: This gallery has images from White Plains, New York and Times Square. It has a lot of buildings that could be used in the development of your website, especially if you are creating a hypothetical country.

Oregon Gallery: These photos were taken by my cousin Debby Lee. She has given students permission to use photos for educational purposes. Be sure to credit Debby Lee if you use her images.

PDPhoto
: This site allows you to use many of their wonderful photos for projects. Be sure to check the terms of agreement before using their images.

Pexels: This site has some high quality images that can be used in classroom projects. Many of the images don't require attribution.

Photos For Class: This site will bring back copyright friendly images that are G rated.

Pics4Learning: This site provides a variety of images for educational purposes. Feel free to contribute your images so people like you can use them in education. I have offered a few images to this site.

Pixabay: "You can use any Pixabay image without attribution in digital and printed form, even for commercial applications."

Pond5: "Download thousands of historic media files for your creative projects. Completely free & made available by Pond5."

Public Domain Images: This site has a variety of images you can use for educational projects. Be sure to credit the source.

Public Domain Sherpa: This site gives great tips and information to determine if you can use other people's work in your projects.

Switch Zoo: You can create your own unique creatures on Switch Zoo or use one that has already been created and posted on the following site. Be sure to thank Switch Zoo if you use their images.

United Arab Emirates: These were donated by Pat Moore so that you could use these for educational projects.

USA Government: Type in what you are looking for in the search window to locate desired images.

Utah Gallery: This gallery has some wonderful images from national and state parks in Utah. You can credit Kidsnetsoft if you use these images.

Vacations: The photographer of this wonderful resource site has graciously given us permission to use his images in projects. Be sure to thank John.

Unsplash: "Do whatever you want free high-resolution photos."

Wikispaces: This site has a variety of websites you can use to get copyright friendly images. You still need to determine the user agreement of the resources you choose to use.

YellowstoneThis gallery has some wonderful images from Yellowstone National Park. You can credit Kidsnetsoft if you use these images.
