Before starting this project, it would be in your best interest to know how to resize images, understand the difference between a jpg and a gif and understand how to manipulate images if necessary. By the end of this project, you will understand how to grab audio from videos using an open source program called Audacity. You will learn how to properly use the fade in and fade out functions of this program. Additionally, you will learn how to cut out parts of a sound or song. This program allows you to perform a variety of effects that can truly compliment your multimedia projects. Lessons will be provided in how to incorporate video to make your final project more interesting and compelling. You will be taught lessons in Windows Movie Maker. If you are an  iMovie user, you should still be able to get some great ideas from this project. Keep in mind that whatever you produce cannot be put online unless you have totally respected the artists and received permission to do so. This project is for personal and educational gain and not to undermine people that you have borrowed material from in order to create your final product.
