This web site is about the candy blue bill that I have been studying about. The candy blue bill lives in a grassy mountain terrain. Their preferred food is any type of nut. They are very close relatives to ducks. They're approximate length is 20 inches. Their main way of movement is running because they do not need to fly to get their food. If they find water they use there wings to dive under water. The main food they get from under the water is tuna and eels. They rest by hanging off trees upside down. When the candy blue bill gives birth the little young feed on there mother. In this race there is no male. They are known for vomiting acid if in danger. It can melt through pure steel in .729 seconds. It also uses its breath to melt a hole in a tree to hide in if seen by a Rhinpig lion which is its natural predator. Its tail is a green with red stripes. It has a beak like a pelican. Their body is very fat because they hibernate during the winter but only half of all candy blue bills hibernate over the winter. The candy blue bills that don’t hibernate climb mountains. When they get to the top, they wait for the last day with snow. Then they slide down the hill on their belly. When they reach the bottom they sleep for the rest of the week. If there is no water the candy blue bill will photosynthesis to create their own food. Their favorite thing to do is to shoot its acid at weeds near their tree. They communicate by scratching the trees and making a elk cry. This is why I think the candy blue bill is cool. I hope you really enjoyed my facts on the candy blue bill. Source: Switch Zoo Links!!!
