This strange animal that you see to your left is the Ainule; it is a hybrid of a Gray Wolf, a cat, a rooster, and a zebra.  It is called the Ainule.  This animal is able to hear high frequency sounds, like the ultrasonic ones that rodents make.  The Ainule is a carnivore.  It is a very dangerous creature.  These animals are very protective of their land.  They will growl when it is warning other animals (or Humans) to GET AWAY!  The Ainule lives in the wide open spaces of the Colorado prairies.  The stripes of the Ainule and the dark, “cat-like” legs appear when the Ainule is about 3 years old.  This animal is at the top of the food chain, so if you happen upon this awkward creature, then you might want to read these precautions.  First, if you happen to come into contact with the Ainule, you want to make slow movements because its eyes are extremely sharp.   Because this animal is part wolf you do not want to start to retreat or come closer.  If you have a cell phone, you should call the Humane Society right away because they will have trained specialists that will subdue the Ainule and put it somewhere far away so that it won’t hurt any other people that may come in contact with.
This peculiar animal is a hybrid that is part Arctic Wolf, part bison, and part Mountain Goat.  The Ayontae is very territorial.  They will guard their land which is approximately 90 square miles.  They are born on cliffs and they can climb and walk very soon after they are born.  The hair that this animal has little pockets that provide insulation.  It lives in the cold, bleak Colorado Rocky Mountains.  Its prime location is right behind and on the mountain of Pike’s Peak.  If you don’t know, Pike’s Peak is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  There is only one animal that could slay the Ayontae, and that is the all mighty Ainule.  Though the Ayontae and the Ainule live in close proximity, they rarely come in contact unless the Ayontae decides to go out the prairie.
The Zinco is a mix between a zebra, a red squirrel, a kangaroo, and a mute swan.  The Zinco will distribute nuts to its other family members.  The Zinco’s father will take it down to a lake when it is born.  It carries its young in a pouch on its belly so that it is always with it.   It is an extremely good swimmer and it loves to play with its brothers and sisters in the water.  The Zinco likes to hop around the grassy plains of the Colorado prairie, but it lives very far away from them.  They are very populated because they have approximately 20 babies at once.  They are herbivores because they only eat nuts and the greens from the bottom of a lake.  It lives far into the Colorado Rocky Mountains, in a far away valley farther away from Colorado Springs than Cripple Creek is.  Then Zinco is not very friendly to people because it likes quiet places and people are very loud.
This Lyrus is comprised of an elephant, a crowned crane, a white rhinoceros, and a fulgorid. It has huge bug-like wings that allow it to fly great distances at one time.  They are mainly found in the warm Colorado forests.  The sound of the Lyrus is not like any other animal’s caw, because the head of this animal is a crowned crane.  They are different because, they don’t have folds in their windpipe, like others do.  It will not crow at another bird passing by because it is not territorial at all.  The Lyrus is very friendly and they like people that go camping in the woods.  Even thought it has rhinoceros and elephant blood, it doesn’t charge at people that live in their territory.  The Lyrus usually lives in groups of thirty to fifty, but since they are endangered, they are in a conserved area, and they hate being away from the humans.  If they start to get their numbers back, then, they might be able to be released into the wild again.
The Pebrikey is comprised of a pig, a bear, a zebra, and a woolly spider monkey. Its special fur color is from it’s evolution in the cold climate in which it lives.  Its general area is way, way up on the top of Mount Elbert in Colorado.  The Pebrikey’s unique fur allows it to control its body temperature, so it can get warmer and cooler.  So it will not die unless it is sick from a disease or killed by the Ayontae or the Ainule.  The Pebrikey’s eyes perceive many shades of green that human eyes do not see.  Like the Ainule, it is a carnivore, but it has to go down the mountain to find food and then it will drag the dead animal back up again to freeze it and eat it.  The main prey of the Pebrikey is mountain lions and big horn sheep.  These animals do not hibernate and they love to play with their young in the snow.
