| In Subawabbi
there are plenty of sights to be seen and places to go. They
are very exciting, intriguing, and adventurous. Here are
five of them. |
This is the Pinkaniel
Beach that attracts tourists everywhere. It is located in
Jus. Grab a swimsuit and
a board to ride the magical waves that spout from the rocks.
It is named Pinkaniel because pinkan means "water" and iel
means "blue" so in English it is called the Bluewater Beach.
Tons of creatures live on and in the beach such as playful
dolphins, polarfalcons, some doxes, crabs, skywots, fish,
and many more. Great place to lay back and relax, play
Frisbee or some other, collect shells, and just take a walk.
There are booths that sell boogie boards, snacks, and
sandals so don't miss out! |
The Great Calamanre is
the biggest waterfall in Subawabbi and is the most sought
and toured in the world. This waterfall is located in Maise
and has restaurants, cafes, money exchanging booths, and big
bathrooms around the area. The beautiful waterfall has crystal
clear waters and a variety of plants surround it, making it
a perfect scene. The sound of the bustling water will calm
anyone's nerves. It is famous for it's healing waters,
sight, and pureness. There is a legend that if you go to the
top of it and sail down it on a snowtree skin board you will
get a life supply of fungus and cleanliness. No one has
tried and had no reason to. No one even knows who made up
the legend, probably to scare off reckless tourists to try
and mess with it. |
Mount Kinfen is a
fabulous landmark in Subawabbi and is in Kumotal. It's great peaks gather
tourists and hikers to come. Mount Kinfen was named after
the event when it was discovered by an explorer named Leaf
Froggo. It was very stormy and lightning struck the peak of
Mount Kinfen, alighting it so Froggo could see it. Kinfen
means "light". At the top of it there is a hotel and a
helicopter pound. It takes only 203 bunners for a helicopter
ride and 135 bunners for a room in the hotel. Many tourists
and Subawabbians snowtree skin ski down Mount Kinfen
challenging others to race. |
This is one of the many
snowtree skin ski resorts, Sonri Lodge, the most famous of
them all and is located in Kumotal. Complete with 4,000 snowtree skin ski boards and an inn, this resort has a great
deal of snow and trees that make a cool course. For skiers
who want a challenge, there are "grasnools", snowtree bark
added to the skis to make it harder to turn. There has not
been an accident but if any occur, such as getting lost or
hurt, there are many ski chaperones and helicopters that go
around making sure everything is okay. It is named after
Palmtree Winters' son, Sonri, for he was the one who created
skiing with snowtree skin. |
This is the Utson
Swinmel Creek, preserved in Disgur. It changes color every 70 minutes. This
greatly attracts people for this has never happened at
any other creek. The color changes are beautiful and
enormously favored. Some of the many colors are blue, red,
green, purple, yellow, and combinations of them. The creek is
freshwater so you could take a drink in it but not from your
hands but by using a special cup called the "endra". The
endra can only be sold at booths near the Utson Swinmel
Creek and it costs 70 bunners. (In the picture the color of
the creek is green and changed to indigo after 70 minutes.)
It is named after its founder, Utson QuakerOats and because
it changes color "swinmel" was added especially because
putting QuakerOats as part for the name would look and sound
silly. |
