- The horf is a shy animal that prefers not
to be approached. However, take caution: any animal, wild or
domesticated, can attack.
- Generally a grazer, on the night of a full
moon between the hours of seven p.m. and twelve a.m., the horf
becomes carnivorous.
- The only horf found so far appears to be a
wolf’s red-furred head on the body of a red paint.
- Scientists have not been able to determine
a gender thus far.
- Favorite treats seem to be sugar cubes,
salted beef (on the night of a full moon), and carrots.
- The horf has an abnormal digestive track
for an animal, being able to eat all of these different foods.
- They sleep about two hours a day.
- It is awake both in the morning and the
nighttime.
- The horf is very active and enjoys running
full-out in wide-open fields.
- It howls when carnivorous, neighs and ends
sharply otherwise.
- They sleep in dens padded by hay, usually
on their side.
- The horf laps up water like a wolf.
- It is the only animal to run faster than a
cheetah at a top speed of eighty miles per hour and can keep up
the pace for about three hours.
- They cannot climb and can only jump about
two to three feet in the air, but can jump across a gap one
hundred fifty feet long.
- It seems to enjoy “hunting” or, rather,
sneaking up behind anyone, if they invade its territory.
- The horf is a loner, not enjoying the
company of any other animal, except for that of birds (they play
with these constantly).
- For defense, it kicks, nips, and snarls.
- They will not be ridden at all costs.
