Being Savvy Online? Students look at Internet videos and must determine if they are real or fake. They use an efficient keyword search and locate a credible source to confirm their answer. Online Unit on Endangered Animals: Students will create posters using Google Drawing. They will then embed their poster on a classroom site so their peers can see their work and provide constructive feedback. PowerPoint Basics: Students make a PowerPoint presentation about themselves. They learn about consistent layouts and design. They are given tips to maintain the interest of the audience. They are taught how to insert music to last the duration of the presentation. *Clipart Creations: Students learn how to make their own clipart using a variety of tools available in Microsoft Applications. This activity will prepare them for the animation project they will be creating using Microsoft PowerPoint. *PowerPoint Animations: Students create an elaborate animation that involves either a kitchen or scene of choice. They will become proficient with various tools in Microsoft PowerPoint.
