Travel has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I am listing some of my travel experiences because I think it adds to the whole person. These are some of the major trips I have taken. I didn't list Canada and the United States. I have pretty much been to most of the States and quite a few of the Canadian provinces.

1982: Traveled extensively throughout Western Europe. This was my first trip overseas and it was very exciting. Being a college student, I was on a very tight budget. This taught me the value of the dollar real quick.

1983: Traveled to China during Winter break. It was an unbelievable experience. It was the most unique place I had ever been in my life. I was happy to be able to travel to China before it became so touristy.

1986: Traveled throughout Mexico. We even went as far as Guatemala. We were going to visit the Ukraine but decided not to go because of the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant. I was disappointed because I had my heart set on traveling to that part of the world. However, the trip to Mexico turned out to be quite eventful.

1989: Traveled to Moscow and Turkey and Eastern European countries. That was an amazing trip as well. We made some wonderful friends in Moscow while taking Russian for 3 weeks. Imagine trying to learn Russian in 3 weeks. Needless to say, I can only say a few words in Russian. While in Turkey, we traveled to the eastern part along the Iranian border. We saw some incredible Mosques and met some nice people. We also visited a few of the eastern European countries including Poland, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia.
1989: Traveled to Moscow and Turkey and Eastern European countries. That was an amazing trip as well. We made some wonderful friends in Moscow while taking Russian for 3 weeks. Imagine trying to learn Russian in 3 weeks. Needless to say, I can only say a few words in Russian. While in Turkey, we traveled to the eastern part along the Iranian border. 1991: Returned to Moscow to hang out with our friends and then take a trip to stay at a Dacha in Uzbekistan. It was a fabulous trip.

2010: Took a fabulous trip to Greece with my husband.

2013: Took an Alaskan Cruise with my husband and his fabulous family.

2016: Traveled throughout Costa Rica, enjoying hikes through some of the parks, viewing volcanoes and enjoying the locals.

2017: Traveled in Vancouver and Victoria Canada.
