"Creative Commons (CC) is an American non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share."It is important that students are aware of copyright laws so they can remix in order to create their own work. Creative Commons wants people to have the freedom to create. They give tools to creators. They want people to continue to create without restrictions. When looking at images, videos or sound, be sure to look at the license so you can be free from illegal consequences.

Flaticon: This site has a lot of fun images to add to projects and make them more interesting.
Flickr terms of use: This site will let you know the terms of use for publishing images on your website.
Free Foto: This site has a variety of quality images. Like most sites, be sure to check the terms of use before using the images.
Kaboom: This site has a variety of quality images. Like most sites, be sure to check the terms of use before using the images.
PDPhoto: This site allows you to use many of their wonderful photos for projects. Be sure to check the terms of agreement before using their images.
Pexels: This site has some high quality images that can be used in classroom projects. Many of the images don't require attribution.
Photos For Class: This site will bring back copyright friendly images that are G rated.
Pics4Learning: This site provides a variety of images for educational purposes. Feel free to contribute your images so people like you can use them in education. I have offered a few images to this site.
Pixabay: "You can use any Pixabay image without attribution in digital and printed form, even for commercial applications."
Reshot: "Design freely with instant downloads and commercial licenses. Items under the Reshot Free License can be used in your commercial and non-commercial projects, for free."

Pixabay: This is a great source for copyright friendly material. Click on the link and search for videos to download for projects.
Pexels: This site has quality video that can be downloaded and used in projects.
FedFlix: "Here we feature the best movies of the United States Government, from training films to history, from our national parks to the U.S. Fire Academy and the Postal Inspectors, all of these fine flix are available for reuse without any restrictions whatsoever."
United States Government Films: "United States government films, including footage of Congressional proceedings, training films, etc. Includes collections: Fedflix, Metavid, and Report to the Congress: Congressional Hearings Online."
